Our Story
H2WISE was envisioned in July 2025, when founder Tom Wise — after 15 years as a director at WSCE — saw a better way to deliver specialist advisory and engineering services grounded in science, collaboration and real-world understanding.
On 1 January 2026, H2WISE officially began — built around the belief that great engineering isn’t just about systems, but about people. The business was founded to provide clients with focused, evidence-based expertise while allowing Tom to spend a once-in-a-lifetime season with his son, Hudson — a reminder that purpose and balance can coexist.​
From its foundation, H2WISE has actively contributed to industry standards, research and regulatory development — participating in Australian and international technical committees shaping the future of water, drainage and building services.​
Today, H2WISE continues to grow around the same principles: clarity through data, curiosity through learning, and integrity in every engagement.
